Daniel has a broad experience of intellectual property from start-ups to global companies. His experience from capture, protection, ownership and commercialization of IP has not only provided him with an in-depth understanding of the legal aspect, but also of how to monetise the IP.

Daniel started as a Patent examiner at the Swedish Patent and Registrations Office in Stockholm. Thereafter he joined AWA in 2006 as a consultant with focus on strategies, processes, IP portfolio management and on how to connect IP protection with core business. In 2013 he moved to SSAB group as Head of IP and CEO of IP company SSAB Technology AB with the main focus to create a professional IP management function and to change the IP culture, structure and processes by raising awareness.
